AMS TIMES - FROM THE EDITOR

From the Editor
Dear Students and Readers Assalam-o-alaikum!

With the eighth issue of 201* Eitne5, we welcome transitions. Seasons changing. Students graduating. The 28th batch of Al Murtaza School (Class of 2018) graduated with an average of 'A' grade. Our treasured Mr. Jameel Yusuf S.St., former Hon. Secretary of the Board of Governors, passed on the baton to Mr. Imran Gheewala and is now the Chairman of the Board. We also embraced technological advancements at Al Murtaza School. The initial integration of IT resources in classes, that started with smart boards in each branch, gradually transited into gadgets for individual students and on-screen assessments in classrooms. Besides transitions, traditions were also rejoiced. Our Zehra Asim Abbas attained the 3rd Position from amongst all groups with 91.8% marks and Tatheer Zehra Qazilbash secured the 3rd position in the Science Group with 91.70% marks at the National Level in Aga Khan University-Examination Board SSC Examination 2018. Muharram-ul-Haram was also observed by all with the usual religious spirit and respect, with Youm-e-Hussain a.s. as the crowning event in the branches. Independence Day was also celebrated with much enthusiasm like every year, followed by Defence Day celebrations. Dear readers, thank you for your generous appreciation and kind comments on the 7th issue of Rft* Ei111¢5. It is a pleasure, as much as it is an honour, to open a window to Al Murtaza School for you all through ZtftIl Eime5. Be innovative! Embrace transitions and changes without letting go of who you truly are. Most importantly, don't let your inhibitions hold you from progress. Warm regards,
Quratul Ain Ahmed Editor, ZIAIL Eime5
